The Sigma Spotlight for the month of January looks to our past and also to our Fraternities bright future of Culture for Service and Service to Humanity. Bro Ward Morse is a third generation Phi Beta Sigma man. His families Sigma legacy spans 91 years of service to our communities and to our great organization. Bro Morse is the proud grandson of our Most Honorable Founder Leonard F. Morse.

Bro Morse was made a Sigma man in the spring of 2004 in the Phi Beta Sigma Sigma chapter in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a 1991 graduate of James Madison University with a degree in Business Management. He currently serves as Senior Consultant with Marsh and McClenan.

Bro Decatur Morse father of Bro Ward Morse pinned and presented him with his membership certificate during his initiation ceremony. Bro Ward Morse expressed how extremely proud yet truly humbled he was to be a small part of the history and grand legacy of our Fraternity.

Bro Morse is the Director of Bigger and Better Business for his chapter and he continues to embody the continued dream of his grandfather and also the perpetual history of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.

During this Founders month we appeal to all brothers past and present to recommit your self to the high ideals of Brotherhood, Scholarship and Service. The true legacy of Phi Beta Sigma lives in all of us, and we must continue to strive for excellence in all that we do. HAPPY FOUNDERS MONTH!!
