Brother Steve Stephens II shows leadership inside and outside of Sigma.
The Sigma Spot light recognizes Brother Steve Stephens II, an up and coming community leader and a rising star in our Fraternity.  Brother Stephens is no stranger to being active in his local community.  He is currently the National President of the Thurgood Marshall Club of America, an organization that he co-founded as a subdivision of the Thurgood Marshal Fund.  Brother Stephens was an academic and athletic standout at Langston University in Langston Oklahoma. While there he was the recipient of the 2003 Thurgood Marshall Scholarship Fund Outstanding Leader of the Year Award, and the 2003 Phi Beta Sigma National Collegiate Member of the Year at Conclave Memphis, Tennessee.

Brother Stevens is also known for his stirring testimonial to the White House on its initiative to the Congressional Committee on HBCU’s (Education & Workforce).  He holds BA in Liberal Education with an emphasis in History.  Brother Stevens was initiated in the fall of 1999 into the Beta Epsilon Chapter at Langston University.  Currently he serves as coordinator for student programming and student activities at Coppin State University in Baltimore Maryland.  He is a Graduate member of Zeta Sigma.

The Sigma Spot Light looks to recognize members of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity who are doing great things in our communities.  If you know a brother who may be a potential Sigma Spot Light candidate send his information to technology@pbs1914.org.
