The Sigma Spot light recognizes Brother Douglas Moore Jr., an up and coming young author who has published a book of 50 poems based on love, relationships, romance and struggles. The book is entitled "Fresh Thoughts".

In keeping with the Sigma spirit Brother Moore will donate a portion of the proceeds to the March of Dimes. "Fresh Thoughts" can be purchases on www.authorhouse.com, www.amazon.com, www.barnes&nobles.com or can be ordered at any local bookstore.

Brother Douglas Moore Jr. became a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. in the Spring of 99 at Stockton State College in New Jersey, the Beta Beta Delta Chapter. He graduated from Stockton in the Spring 2001 with a BA in Accounting and has worked at Prudential in the Finance Department for the last 3 years. He resides in Belleville, NJ and plans on pursuing his Masters in Finance in the Summer of 2005. He is currently in the Alumni Chi Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma.
