How did you become interested in Sigma?: I have an uncle and cousin (Omega Chapter) who were dedicated Sigma Men.
Advice to younger Brothers: “Safeguard” your and the Fraternity’s reputation with the best in conduct and strive for excellence. Be an example of integrity on the yard and in the community. Make a habit to be great SIGMA men every day. Be generous and plan to join a graduate chapter. SIGMA is a historical institution and requires dedication. Remember, it’s a privilege to be a member. Honor your Brothers and yourselves through outstanding scholarship, enduring brotherhood and continued service.
Advice to older Brothers: Remember your commitment to SIGMA. Extend support and encouragement to younger Brothers, point out the potholes in life and prepare younger Brothers for LEADERSHIP. Prepare to pass the LIGHT on, and build leaders with vision. Every Brother under the shield has a responsibility to SIGMA’s legacy, not only a select few. Find those Brothers from your undergrad days and reach out to them to get active. Keep building ’cause the shield ain’t never too heavy!
