Brother Everette Harp  
Tops Billboard Jazz Charts 

Bro. Everette Harp, an accomplished saxophonist and jazz musician, released his new CD, “In The Moment” on May 23. Two weeks later, the CD is No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Contemporary Jazz list.

“In The Moment” is Bro. Harp’s seventh album since 1992. The new CD tops the charts against artists such as Herbie Hancock and Gerald Albright. The list can be viewed at www.billboard.com. Born in Houston, Bro. Harp became a member of Phi Beta Sigma under the Zeta Beta Chapter in the Spring of 1981 at North Texas State University, now known as the University of North Texas, in Denton. He has toured all over the world and also has performed theme songs for TV shows Soul Train and Entertainment Tonight.
