Alabama A&M president Robert R. Jennings appointed three new members to his administrative team on Feb. 1. Two of the three positions were filled by Stephen L. McDaniel and Marco W. McMillian, two past international second vice presidents of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
McDaniel, a certified fund-raising executive, was named the vice president for institutional advancement and executive director of the foundation. McDaniel has more than 25 years of fund-raising experience. He has served as a senior development officer at several schools, including the University of the Virgin Islands, Tuskegee University and North Carolina A&T, and he was the vice president for development at Morris Brown College.
McMillian, a certified grant specialist, was named the executive assistant to the president. McMillian is a former program coordinator with Clarksdale Public School System and a teacher with the Nouxebee County School District in Mississippi. He is a former assistant to the vice president and associate director for development at Jackson State and currently is the deputy chief of staff of Phi Beta Sigma.
